We’re part of the Phoenix COMMUNITY: We aren’t just any automotive repair shop...Sure, we fix cars, but we are so much more. At 180° Degrees Automotive we are proud to be a locally, woman-owned business. We are a neighborhood business in the Melrose | Pierson Place district of central Phoenix and involved with our neighborhood association.

Our custom designed lobby hosts a range of community... events including various charity fund-raisers, art exhibits, and even baby showers! Our shop features a small art gallery where local artist are invited to exhibit their work. We also offer a small retail space where our customers can browse handcrafted gifts from Phoenix-based artisans.

Educating our community and customers is also very important to us. We offer free classes in basic car care designed by Bogi Lateiner from All Girls Garage on a regular basics. Check out the below posts for the latest event and community news.

Phoenix Community Alliance

Art Works

Austin had the pleasure of giving a brief presentation at the Phoenix Community Alliance event ART WORKS PHX at the new Found:RE space on Central Ave.  We love our local artist community, and we were thrilled
to have a chance to share with other businesses our artist space and how we help promote their work along with being able to enjoy the exhibit ourselves with our busy schedules.

Every 3 months we switch the artist that is displayed in our lobby area.  We take lower commission of the art sales because we aren’t an official art gallery and we like to help support up and coming artists.
On First Friday, we hold a reception for the artist in their honor.  It’s a great way to have their friends and family and our customers show their support, and get to know different artists in the community or even about us and what 180* Auto has to offer!
During the reception, along with supporting the artists exhibit, people come to us and are excited about the different way that we go about car care.  We’re here to help educate our customers about WHY their car needs regular maintenance, and how to game plan
repairs in future visits to accommodate them.

We find that the artwork relaxes our customers and helps with easing the tension of car repairs and makes for a less stressful experience.  This was Bogi’s main philosophy when she started 180* Automotive.
“We Make Car Care Less Scary” by creating a calming environment rather than one that smells of oil and rubber.  We hope to see you in the new year whether for your car repairs, or at the next artist reception!
