UNDER THE HOOD CAR CARE CLASSES
Under the Hood Car Care Classes are designed as a basic car care class with women in mind. The goal of the classes is to introduce women to the concept of basic care and handling of automotive vehicles. In the course, information will cover:
- How to change a tire.
- How to check fluids.
- The basics of braking systems.
- How suspension works.
- An introduction of what’s under your hood.
- How to replace wiper blades.
In addition to the individual components, we will talk about the importance of maintenance and how to ask the right questions. Being involved in the maintenance of your vehicle will save yourself time and money and get you the most out of your car ownership experience.
THERE ARE THREE OPTIONS FOR CAR CARE CLASSES.
For more information, see below or contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Individuals: For the people who take this class, we are teaching automotive basics. The main focus is teaching empowerment and basic in-person skills, but we are just using automotive knowledge as the context. The students walk away with an overall sense of “I can do this!” and a more general sense of accomplishing other things that may have seemed more challenging. Bogi teaches the class at 180 Auto on a regular basis. It is a free class and you can find out when the next class is available by clicking the event calendar or you can join the mailing list.
Private groups/events: For groups there are two different things. If you have a group or organization- whether it is a girl scouts troop looking to earn their auto repair badge or you’ve got a corporate bonding retreat (or whatever the case may be)-Bogi can come teach a class to your group as a private party. It is limited to 15 people per session. This option can be structured to be available to both genders, if needed. For pricing, information and availability click here.
